In her corporate practice she provides advice to national and foreign clients operating in different areas and industries. Her professional activity covers consultation on basic corporate aspects of companies, as well as assistance on more complex aspects, and issues related to good corporate governance, obtaining company operating licenses and permits, advice on conducting business promotions, and regulatory aspects in different areas, such as consumer products and pharmaceuticals, among others.
She was in-house legal advisor for Nestlé Bolivia S.A. and Industrias Alimenticias Fagal S.R.L., in the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, where she provided ongoing advice to the two companies nationwide in relation to their commercial operations.
In intellectual property and administrative law, she leads the Intellectual Property practice in Bolivia, advises clients in all types of industries regarding trademark and copyright issues, management and development of franchises, in addition to negotiating and preparing trademark assignment contracts, use licenses and franchise agreements. Additionally, she collaborates in the surveillance of registered industrial property and in tracking processes at the National Industrial Property Service (SENAPI) for filing oppositions, cancellation claims for non-use and/or trademark nullity, as appropriate. She represents national and foreign companies in administrative and judicial procedures to protect their intellectual property rights.
In 2019 she was ranked by the British publication The Legal 500 in the Intellectual Property area.
She is enrolled in a Master's Degree program in Business Management and Direction, where her specialization will be directed toward Business Intelligence and Big Data.
